Welcome soldiers to the new battlefield. In the battlefield that awaits you, you will find strange new weapons, vehicles and physics that seem to defy law, but worry not soldier, you're not alone. For we all have seen these bizarre things and have decided to stand and fight along side you. If you find yourself alone, flying through the air, worry soldier, for you are not superman, but are about to die unless you pull out your parachute. So what is the Tactical Ballistics Mod?
The Tactical Ballistics mod is a 100% server side mod that provides new weapons, vehicles, maps, and game modes. Tactical Ballistics Mod - 'Changing the battlefield, one life at a time.' Since I found a major bug that I forgot about (adding single player), I have to release an entirely new FULL download and not a patch. I also had to change some of the weapons around to make room for a new weapon that was just added. As always, PLEASE READ the README.TXT File. I will post it here so you guys know how to install it.
Also, You MAY need to download or get Winzip or a comparable unzip program to open the file, as that is what was used to compress the files. Readme.txt: IMPORTANT NOTE TO AVOID CRASHING: MAKE SURE AUTOBALANCE IS OFF! DO NOT TURN IT ON! Battlefield 2142 Zombie Community Mod, by A-Train (AwesomeATrain) Thank you for downloading the Battlefield 2142 Community Zombie Mod!
Order of release: ZombiecommunityBeta Zombiecommunityalpha Zombiecommunity1.1 (Current) 1.1 Supports MAC and Windows Based Versions. This 1.1 version focuses on adding single player which I accidently forgot and some minor bugs that cause servers and clients to crash. Players CAN expect the mod to crash on a regular basis, to which there is nothing I can do. I've done my best to prevent crashes but it is a fact of 2142 co-op in general. This version is designed to work on the latest version of Battlefield 2142 (1.50). The 2142 Zombie mod pits human players against an excessively large amount of bots who are armed with nothing but fire and zombie goo. These bots will relentlessly hunt down the other team, who in turn must hold out against them as long as possible. Players CAN win if they kill enough zombies that cause their tickets to reach 0.
Hold out soldiers, are you will find the victory music most pleasing. Fail, and we will weep tears. This mod is designed for mutiplayer (server-client), lan, and single player. This mod is designed to be balanced in favor for the zombies. So most players will find that this mod is insainly hard to play when against zombies. Players can also choose to play as zombies as well, HOWEVER, this mod has coded all bots to be placed on the PAC team, no matter how you set the co-op ratio.
The bots are NOTLocal-Create game That way you have more control over the game settings. Most game settings have been already set up for you, so not much is needed. If a player desires, they can set the number of tickets, which in turns lets you control how difficult the game will be. The more tickets, the harder the game.
The less tickets, the easier the game. A good game of 2 or 3 players is around 120. A good game of only one player is around 50 tickets.
Four or more players might want to set the tickets to 200 or even 300 if they feel daring. Credits Special thanks goes to ZMod, Original Zombie mod for 2142, FFolks Unlocks Mod, and the PS1441 Clan for helping me test this! You currently have the public release version of this mod, the final release for the mod.
This is my farewell release as I will no longer be modding 2142 anymore. Music from (Laura Shigihara (Various Albums)) was used in the making of this mod.
So those addicted to the music should go to that website. Also, thanks to Frosted Freeze in providing the Zombie Management code that makes the servers more stable. If I left anybody out, then I apologize in advance. Simply post a thread and I'll post additional credits on my websites. An additional to the mac users for pointing out some lack of major features and some bugs that don't work on the MAC.
This is a UNIVERSAL MAC/WINDOWS release. When I try to create a game, the game crashes as soon as I click the 'create game' button A. This is due to incorrect installation of the mod. Please read the installation section of this readme very carefully when installing. When I create a game, there are vehicles and stationary weapons on the map and there are no bots. This is because you didn't select co-op as the game type. This is VERY important as zombies are only present in co-op.
When I create the game, there are only 16 bots and they are all using weapons. This is because the game hasn't loaded up the mod. If you are using a shortcut, make sure you have typed in the '+modPath mods/zombie' into the target box correctly (see the example above). Alternatively, make sure you are enabling the mod from the Community - Custom game.
The mod works, but when I disconnect from the match, the game crashes to the desktop. This is because the game cannot cope with the current number of bots. You can adjust the amount of bots on the 'aidefault.ai' located in the AI folder (using notepad or wordpad). Alternatively, if you wait until the next level loads and press Esc while it is loading, it will return to the menu without crashing. Take note, if you adjust the bot number, you won't be able to join the online server (until you revert the number back to it's original 48) Q.
The mod works, but it keeps crashing randomly. This is most likely caused by the amount of bots used, especially if you're using slower hardware. Adjusting the amount of bots in the aidefault.ai file to a lower number will fix this. Take note, if you adjust the bot number, you won't be able to join the online server (until you revert the number back to it's original 48) Q. How do I contact A-Train to tell him how much I love this mod? How do I contact A-Train to inform him of the bugs I found? Please visit one of the websites below (except for mybluedream.com) to post a thread.
I can be contacted there. Now have fun, and remember - defend your tags at all costs!
Well you heard right! The 0.7 Version of the mod is complete! After some inactivity, the Mod was finished after a lot of friends where complaining that the mod was Dead. So here it is!

Battlefield 2142 Zombie Mod (1.40) This is mod pits humans (EU team) against an excessive amount of AI bots (PAC team) which are wielding nothing but a knife, who will chase down anyone they see to the death. Designed for single and LAN play, the players must hold out against the AI for as long as possible without loosing their dogtags. All vehicles, weapon emplacements and commander assets have been removed from the 5 maps to ensure the battles must rely on the players skill, communication and co-ordination to survive. 'Tired of same online gun fights?
Annoyed with your job? Angry with college? Ever wanted to just blow stuff up? Well this is the answer! When the day is to much to take, chill out and get lost with the Battlefield 2142 Stress Relief mod! Full of experimental crazy and inventive weaponry that will keep you amazed and laughing for hours.' Mod is a new Single player Battlefield 2142 Mod that gives the player the power of truly destructive and 'laugh-out-loud' crazy weaponry and vehicles.
Including the Boom Sniper and the insane Bouncer rifle to just name a mere few. And for a brand new twist, each side's standard weapons have their own unique powers, Like the Eu portable Artillery and the Pac Portable ICBM Launcher! The single player mod also has, more bots, new improved sounds/effects, soldier ability changes and new 'Titan proving grounds' levels with no bots to hone your skills, either be it flying, driving, strategy or just to mess about.
MOD has all main weapons modified for some serious firepower and some of the new unique weapons include the 'Seeker' (scar 11) and the crazy 'Randomizer' ( Krylov FA-37), which are near compelete two opposites and have their own unique abilities. First Strike SP Unlocks (Beta) This is a mini mod which allows you to play with the unlokable weapons in the First Strike Singleplayer mod. I havent managed to add all the weapons in a single kit so i made two additional kits that you can use by replacing the original Kitsserver.zip before you start the game. You can find the complete description in the readme. This is only a beta version, the final version should have only one file, but i dont know what to do, im sure the key is hidden within the Kitsserver.zip, so if anyone can help me or take over the mod you can reach me.
I'm going to be completely straight with you, we're currently working on increasing our social media presence for Nexus Mods and have budgeted a small amount each month towards increasing our social media readership. We could certainly put that money straight into purchasing Facebook and Twitter ads, but I much prefer the idea of using that money instead to fund giveaways that benefit our users and that everyone can enter (even if you don't care about or hate social media). To that end, we plan to run fortnightly giveaways for Steam gift cards. Anyone can enter, and we provide additional entrie. As part of our relocation process to our offices in Exeter, we now have two job openings at Nexus Mods working within our community management team. This position is based in our offices in Exeter in the UK and you will need a right to work in the UK before you apply. Here are the details.
The Role As a community manager, it is your responsibility to interact with and look after the Nexus Mods community and understand the needs and wants of the various smaller communities within. You will be the public face of Nexus Mods and the go-to person for any questions users have specifically about the comm.
Hello everyone, For over a year now we've been working on a mod manager to replace the ailing Nexus Mod Manager. The premise was simple, attempt to combine the simplicity of the Nexus Mod Manager with the advanced functionality of Mod Organizer and create something that is accessible to all types of modders. Back in May of 2017 we named this replacement 'Vortex' and we aimed for a January 2018 release date. With that in mind, the full release of Vortex is almost upon us.
To give us a bit more time to polish things up (more on the web side than the application side) we're aiming for a full unlimi. Last year we set up our first office for Nexus Mods and began the process of relocating as many of the current staff as possible into the new environment. As part of this process, we now have a job opening at Nexus Mods working on our with Tannin, which is replacing the Nexus Mod Manager. This position is based in our offices in Exeter in the UK, which I know limits our available recruiting pool from the sites, but I always post our job openings up on the site before passing on the requirements to local recruiters.
I'd rather recruit from within the community if I can and we've b. A belated Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everybody! We've been quiet in our news section recently as we've been busily working away on the site redesign and Vortex development, but the new year brings the perfect chance to update you on what happened last year and what we're working on in 2018. 2017 in numbers We welcomed 1,612,142 new users to Nexus Mods in 2017, or to put it another way, a new member joined Nexus Mods every 20 seconds. We now support mods for 493 different games, up 80 on 2016. In that time users have uploaded 27,891 new mods to the site and all of you have downloaded. While a few of the developers continue to work on the new site design, fixing up bugs, improving page load time performance and responding to useful critiques and suggested improvements to the UI and UX from users, I wanted to take some time out to announce a new feature that a few of our other developers are currently working on that we plan to launch in the first quarter of 2018.

A new year's resolution of sorts, if you will. The new functionality I want to talk about today is something I've wanted to do for a long time. Indeed, I initially pitched this idea in the mod author forums back in A.
We're currently implementing stage 2 of our redesign soft launch process and as such, you might experience a few oddities and/or get thrown about a bit between the old and new designs as we gradually implement the changes and stress test things. Stage 2 is moving the nexusmods.com domain over to the new design so by default, users will be on the new design. During this time we're still allowing users to access the old website design via. If during our stress tests we find that there are some issues that need fixing that might negatively impact the performance of the sit. It's time for a Vortex development update! Since our last we have setup a focus group of around 30 individuals who have been given access to an early build alpha of Vortex using a rudimentary design and UX flow.
Tannin has been working with these users, taking on their feedback and patching up bugs that have been found over the past couple of months. At this stage, the core functionality is all done and now it's a matter of rounding off any rough edges and patching up any holes the focus group can find. While Tannin has been working on the overall functionality of the appli. Hello everyone, The time is almost upon us as we near the official release of our redesign. We're now ready to share the redesign with all of you in the hopes that you can help us in identifying the remaining issues before we officially go live and change the site over.
We're doing a very soft launch of this redesign. In September we provided the mod authors with access to the new site to receive their feedback and bug hunting help and a few weeks ago we provided the link to the new redesign in our forums and on the SkyrimMods subreddit. I want to thank all the users who have helped us in identi. Update: Thank you to all the applicants and submissions, please note that this position is now filled.
